Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist prepares and enters requisitions into various computer systems in an accurate and timely manner ensuring all pertinent information is available and entered.

Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Medical coding (ICD-9, CPT, HCPC) knowledge preferred.
  3. Medical claim filing and processing knowledge preferred.
  4. Minimum one (1) year office experience required, preferably in a medical office billing environment.
  5. Experience and proficiency with accounting software, PC computer including word processing and spreadsheets, and 10-key calculators.
  6. Strong math, analytical, and data entry skills required.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
  8. Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills, including by telephone.
