Human Resources Staffing Coordinator

Job Summary

The Staffing Coordinator performs all recruiting, interviewing, and placement functions in compliance with company guidelines and procedures. Interacts with departmental managers to facilitate the interviewing process and efficiently meet their staffing needs. Develops and places advertisements using various media and maintains relations with outside agencies and educational institutions, performs reference and background checks, and may administer pre-employment tests. Conducts exit interviews.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  2. Knowledgeable in employment laws and regulations.
  3. Minimum two years experience in recruiting functions, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
  4. Knowledgeable in Microsoft computer applications.
  5. Knowledgeable in use of the Internet.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
  7. Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills, including by telephone.
