Laboratory Assistant, Senior
Job Summary
The Laboratory Assistant performs tasks to support the laboratory technical staff in the areas of specimen procurement, specimen processing and some basic lab testing. The LAS trains new personnel, prepares work schedules, and oversees daily workflow.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in phlebotomy.
- Leadership skills required
- Computer skills required
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills, including by telephone
- Medical terminology required
