Cytotechnologist

Job Summary

The Cytotechnologist performs specialized and complex technical tasks involved in screening slides of clinical specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor Degree in science related field.
  2. Successful completion of a 12-month CAHEA accredited Cytotechnology Program.
  3. Current certification or registration by ASCP or equivalent agency.
  4. Current and valid State of Hawaii license.
  5. Computer literate in applications such as LIS, Network, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  6. Strong problem-solving and decision making skills required.
  7. Passes company drug testing program pre-hire and thereafter on a periodic and/or random basis.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills required.
  9. Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills, including by telephone.
